Rural/Farm Internet Service

News from the Town of Viking - February 2020

In 2019 the Town of Viking became an Internet Services Provider, providing high speed wireless internet to the residents of Viking and local rural farms and residents.

Now the Town is looking at expanding its service to residents outside the immediate 15 km radius of Viking.

We understand that in your farming operation there is much more than just your home office, there’s the bin yard, shop or calving barns.

Because we recognize the vital role that technology plays in your agricultural operations, we can custom build a system to suit your needs even if the shop/bin yard are on a different quarter.

We are currently in the process of securing tower space in our planned areas and are eager to work with you to have the Town of Viking as your Internet Service Provider.

Our illustration of our current service area is shown in orange, and our planned service area in blue. This week the Town of Viking has sent out information packages to farming operations and rural residents in the 15 km of Viking.
