This station serves the community of Viking and also responds to the eastern side of Beaver County.There are approximately 20 volunteer firefighters at Station #5

Ambulance
 
Beaver EMS is contracted by Alberta Health to provide quality emergency medical services, emergency health education and support programs to the residents of Tofield, Ryley, Holden, Viking, & Beaver County. Beaver EMS supplies ambulance services to Tofield, Ryley, Holden, Viking and Beaver County with two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances stationed in Tofield, and one ALS unit in Viking. Ambulances are dispatched by the Strathcona Emergency Dispatch Center in Sherwood Park, Alberta using enhanced 911.
