Development Permits

A development permit approves the use of a site, as well as the size and location of any buildings or structures. Development permit approvals must be obtained for new construction, renovations, businesses, and changes of use to existing buildings.

After the Town has approved a development permits, construction permits must be obtained from The Inspections Group. All construction related permits must be inspected and approved. The Town of Viking has contracted with the Inspections Group who issue, inspect and approve all permits.
