The purpose of the Citizens on Patrol Program is for dedicated community volunteers to assist in crime prevention in the community. By being an extra set of "eyes & ears" in the community, and by getting involved in the activities of the local Citizens On Patrol Societies, citizens can help their local police agency make safer homes and safer communities.


  
 
Viking Citizens On Patrol are looking for new members.
 
 

Goals of the C.O.P. Groups:
1. To provide a presence in the community through patrolling by vehicle, by foot, by bicycle or other means required.
2. To educate the community about crime prevention.
3. To increase awareness on crime related issues.
 
 
 Requirements needed to Become a Member:
 1. 18 years of age.
 2. Concerned about community safety.
 3. Pass a R.C.M.P. criminal record check.
 4. Good character.
 5. Successfully complete the basic training manual.
