In these times, it is imperative that communities become involved in enhancing community safety through crime prevention.
The mission of C.O.P. is to build a safer community.

Objectives:
  • To increase citizen participation in observing and reporting suspicious events in the community. 
  • To reduce incidents of crime such as theft from motor vehicles, break and enters, vandalism and impaired driving. 
  • To assist local police when needed.
  • To be actively involved in our community and community events.
  • To help make your community safer.    
 
Citizens On Patrol meet on the first Tuesday of each month in the Louis Sutter meeting room in the Viking Carena Complex, 5120-45st. Viking ,AB. 
 
 
We hold our Annual General Meeting once a year in January to elect a new Executive. This year for 2019, our Executive is as follows:

  • President: Cindy Docksteader
  • Vice President: Penny Hammer
  • Recording Secretary: Jennifer Stewart
  • Treasurer: Hanna Huibers   
 

                   Viking Citizens On Patrol is a community organization that has been proven to deter criminal activities. We are a Non Profit Organization and we have yearly expenses. Such as Alberta Citizens on Patrol Association Membership fees, insurance, postal services and replacement costs for equipment needed for patrols. Any Donations would be appreciated.
